Feast Your Eyes on These Phreaquez

Pictures from the Feast of the Hunters Moon ...October 2005- this is an annual event held in West Lafayette at Fort Quiotinon (shit I can never spell it...its famous though...look it up!) The Feast is a Historical recreation of the 17th and 18th century French and Native American Indian War. Its a hoot and what else are ya gonna do in Indiana? Think really late period Renn faire with big friggin cannons!

Rain Rain Rain and oh yeah more rain...Thats pretty much what this years Feast of the Hunters Moon was like. Here is Djenn, Heather, Kia, Patrick, and me with little Miko in the middle.

Oh yeah and here is the clockwork clown and her master the really cute boy we kept embarassing. We are turning into such dirty old women...he he he! Unfortunately the pictures of the hot fire jugglers didn't come out so well. You can kind of see them through the umbrellas..they are the silly mortals in the middle not carrying umbrellas.

The shark pool picture above is shot of a walk through tunnel inside the shark tank. I snapped the shot of a Japanese couple walking through just as a shark swam above them. We were standing on the second floor looking into a wading pool looking down on the walk through tunnel. I give the designers of this place major kudos!

The New Baby

Here is my newest kitty Samantha on my sewing/kitchen table. She's 7 months old and has a passion for string. She's a tortise shell...Black with red and gold and tan markings. I adopted her from the Humane Society on Dec 3rd.

I'll have more pictures later. She is a pistol. She isn't afraid of anything and has explored the entire apartment with that oopsie kitten grace. Sebastian has finally accepted her as a sentient life form. They even snuggle together.

No bake cheese cake cream
Chocolate topping
Caramel topping
Cherry Cordial Hershey Kisses (or whatever Hershey Kiss hunting season it happens to be)

For best ooey gooey satisfaction, only half bake the brownie crust!

Seven Deadly Sins Cake

No no ...I won't actually post the recipe or how I make this decadence... I'll just tease you with what's in it.

Devil's Food cake
Semi sweet chocolate chips
Cream chese filling
Kahlua
Baily's Irish Cream
Amaretto
Triple chocolate fudge icing
Caramel topping

I call it the Seven Deadly Sins Cake simply because I guarantee you will commit at least 2 if not more of the seven deadly sins by the time you are done with your piece!

I created this delectible monstrosity under the influence of severe PMS and needed to quell the hormonal beasty within.
