Out with the Snow and on with the Books!
Spring semester starts next week and of course I mess up my back...am I cursed? It seems everytime I start school I have a major spine injury. I was shovling the overnight foot of snow we got a few weeks ago and I guess it caught up with me. So I'm back to wearing the serolla belt, ice packs, and bed rest routine again. I'm still able to drive and go to work and all that jazz, but putting my socks on is a bitch. I must enjoy pain.
I am psyched about this next semester. Like a true geek I have already downloaded the syllabus for my next botony class...the others have not been posted yet. I'm going to the bookstore tonight to get the rest of my books. Oh, yeah...for those tuning in at home, here are my grades from last semester... Child Psych - A, Botony - A, Behav Neurosci - B, Algebra/Trig - C. I have never been so happy to get a C in math...for some reason math at Purdue is a bitch no matter what level you are.
This semester I'm taking: PSY 201 Statistics for Psychology, BTNY 211 Plants and their Environment, COM 114 Speech, and ANTH 303 Gender across cultures. It should be fun...I already looked at the statistics text book and regretted not taking Greek as a foreign language!

Dude..Statistics..I'm so sorry.
I still think Auntie Linda had it right when she called it "Sadistics."
