Hang on to Your Balls Toto!

So for anyone who was wondering, the big F3 tornado that hit Indiana was down south in Evansville about 4 hours away from Lafayette. We got some rain and hail, but nothing out of the ordinary weatherwise...I actually slept through the storm.

Lafayette is technically in the famous Tornado Alley, but we rarely see tornados in the main part of town. Smaller tornados do like to toy with the trailer parks on the outskirts of town. I've been in the Midwest off and on now for 10 years and I have yet to see one myself...although the pea soup green sky is really creepy. There's no wind and no cricket or other critter sounds... the air gets really stale like the O2 levels are dropping.

I've felt a 4.0 earthquake in San Francisco and have been in countless huricanes & tropical storms on the Atlantic Coast. I was almost struck by lightning too, but not quite.
