Red Tour '07

I get to be on the Indiana leg of the Red Tour!!

On July 7th in Muncie IN, Snakes Rising and Il Troubadore will be playing for a very cool group of belly dancers. Wyldfyre invited me to dance with them a few months ago and I got to pick a song they will be playing live. I'm glad I can improvise since live music can change at a moments notice. Now all I have to worry about is costuming. Most of my costumes are in major disrepair or just don't fit anymore. I was hoping my new outfit would arrive soon, it may not arrive in the mail till a week after the performance. Ack!!

This is a fire tour, so most of the dancers are going to be spinning fire or playing with the fire toys. I'm not ready for big fire right now, so I chose to dance with candles. I need to find some pretty glass holders...I was thinking of getting floating candles and filling the glass holders with water. I so wish I could do the Labyrinth glass ball spinning. I can do it, but not while dancing...bummer...that would look so cool with a floating candle in the glass globes. I may have to check into juggler sites and see if they have anything like that.
